The SMART Classic Under Sink Water Filter System by Crystal Quest is designed to provide a convenient and effective solution for purifying tap water. It operates through six stages of filtration, ensuring the elimination of various impurities to offer great taste and pureness. The unique design allows for a substantial amount of filtration media enabling more contact time with the water. More contact time means better filtration.

6-Stage Filtration Process

Stage 1:
Water passes through a one-micron filter pad, removing suspended particles such as silt, sediment, rust, dirt, cysts (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), and undissolved matter.

Stage 2:
Water flows through coconut shell granulated activated carbon (Arsenic-Free GAC™) to absorb organic contaminants, bad taste, and odors.

Stage 3:
Water is filtered through ion exchange resin, reducing heavy metals such as lead, copper, and aluminum, while Ceramic and Tourmaline balls enhance alkalinity.

Stages 4 & 5:
Water moves through a high-purity alloy blend of copper and zinc (Eagle Redox Alloy® 6500 & 9500), which instantly oxidizes and removes chlorine and chloramines.

Stage 6:
Water passes through a final one-micron filtration pad, ensuring further reduction or complete elimination of a wide variety of contaminants.
