On The Go™ Double Standard Water Softener
On The Go’s “double standard” softener produces twice as many gallons of soft water as their standard model. This 16,000-grain unit supplies approximately 40% more soft water than any other unit on the market. It regenerates with just two boxes of common table salt in a process that takes less than 30 minutes.
Its compact, patent-pending design allows it to be installed in the tightest of places. The system includes an easy to carry handle, a large opening for easy addition of salt, high grade premium resin, a travel-friendly cap and plug to prevent leakage, and a backflush adapter. It utilizes a standard hose connection that works perfectly with the Clearsource RV water filter. Like Clearsource filters, it provides high flow rates and very low pressure drops.
The On The Go softener prevents the build-up of scale, eliminates rust stains, and improves taste and odor.
The mixed bed resin is particularly useful for producing high-purity water by removing dissolved minerals and ions. The inclusion of a TDS meter is a valuable addition as it allows you to monitor the water quality and know when the resin needs to be replaced or regenerated.
The unit seems designed for flexibility, with the easy hook-up/removal feature making it suitable for various applications where you might need pure water intermittently.
