Superior Multi-Stage Purification Process

Initial Filtration (Stages 1-3)

• 5-Micron Solid Carbon Cartridge: Removes VOCs, pesticides, and industrial solvents while trapping larger particles including sediment, silt, sand, and dirt
• Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane (0.020 micron): Advanced technology that removes colloids, bacteria, viruses, parasites, protozoa, and pyrogens
• Pre One-Micron Filter Pads: Captures suspended particles as small as 1/25,000th of an inch, including Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts
  

Core Purification (Stages 4-8)

• Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC): Effectively adsorbs chlorine, cancer-linked chemicals (THMs, benzene), pesticides, VOCs, PCBs, MTBEs, and hundreds of other contaminants
• Ion Exchange Resin: Significantly reduces heavy metals (lead, copper, aluminum) and water hardness
• Dual Eagle Redox Alloy® Beds: Revolutionary copper-zinc media that uses electrochemical oxidation/reduction to remove chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, and heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, etc.)
• Secondary One-Micron Filtration: Further reduces undesirable particles for cleaner water
  

Final Purification (Stages 9-12)

• CRYSTAL QUEST® Reverse Osmosis Membrane: Removes particles as small as 1/10,000 of a micron, including salts, metals, minerals, and microorganisms
• Dual One-Micron Filter Pads: Final barrier against suspended particles and microorganisms
• Final GAC Filtration: Ensures water tastes pure and refreshing

Please Note The Following:  

• When considering installation of an undersink unit: if current under sink plumbing is hard copper tubing the saddle valve would be used; for flex tubing the T-valve would be required. During the ordering process, you will have a choice of which installation valve you prefer.
• The influent waters psi will have a direct effect on GPD or gallon per day production. The RO is designed to work in a psi range from 35-60 with 60 being optimum. If your water pressure is low or you have a high TDS please consider a system manufactured with a pump.
• Units are manufactured standard with 110v electrical outlet but are also available in 220v if requested.
  
  

C Series

The Thunder C Series uses a Granulated Activated Coconut Shell Carbon (GAC) Filter Cartridge, post membrane cartridge, to remove volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC’s), insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents.

P Models
