Important Information

The cartridge(s) in this system require manual salinity regeneration to maintain optimum performance. Without proper regeneration, the media will eventually exhaust, resulting in reduced filtration capacity. Regeneration frequency varies based on influent contaminant levels, but typically should be performed every 20-30 days.

Regeneration Process:

1. Prepare a salt solution (2-3 cups of salt for every 3-4 cups of water)
2. Stir thoroughly and soak the cartridge for 1-2 hours (you may need to weigh down the cartridge)
3. Soak the cartridge in tap water for an additional 1-2 hours
4. Rinse thoroughly with running tap water
5. Reinstall the cartridge

Note: Regeneration is not required before first use, even if the cartridge has remained unopened for an extended period.

Water Source Compatibility

This Fluoride System and Media is specifically designed for treating municipal water containing inorganic fluoride. For organic fluoride or natural water sources such as well water, please consult with a Crystal Quest® Associate for appropriate system recommendations.
