Hard water contains elevated levels of minerals such as calcium and magnesium that create numerous household problems. The signs are often visible: stubborn stains on plumbing fixtures, reduced soap lathering, and an uncomfortable film left on skin after bathing. Behind the scenes, hard water causes even more significant issues by forming limescale deposits throughout your water system.
These mineral deposits gradually restrict water flow in pipes and dramatically reduce the efficiency of water heaters and appliances. This inefficiency translates directly to increased energy costs—typically 15-20% higher for water heating. Additionally, hard water significantly shortens the lifespan of washing machines, dishwashers, coffee makers, and other water-using appliances.

Our comprehensive water softening system addresses hard water problems through a sophisticated three-stage filtration process:
Water first passes through a 20" sediment cartridge that effectively captures physical contaminants including sediment, silt, sand, and dirt particles—protecting your downstream equipment and improving water clarity.
The heart of the system features an ion exchange mineral tank and brine water conditioner. Here, hard minerals (calcium and magnesium) are exchanged for softer sodium or potassium ions, eliminating the problematic effects of hard water throughout your home.
In the final stage, water flows through a 20" solid carbon cartridge that addresses chemical contaminants, removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, insecticides, and industrial solvents that may be present in your water supply.
To maintain optimal performance, the system requires regular regeneration with either sodium chloride (salt) or potassium chloride. This process renews the ion exchange capacity, ensuring continued softening effectiveness.
Add comprehensive microbiological protection with our ultraviolet sterilization system. This technology provides 99.99% reduction of bacteria, viruses, algae, and protozoa without chemicals or retention tanks—delivering faster disinfection than chlorine-based alternatives.
This preventative technology automatically detects water leaks within the filtration system and immediately shuts down water supply to prevent potential flooding damage.
Recommended as a protective measure against negative pressure events in your water line that could potentially damage filter tanks and housings.
While the standard system includes a timer valve that operates on a fixed schedule (e.g., every 7 days), the metered valve option provides usage-based regeneration, triggering the backwashing cycle after a specific water volume has been processed (e.g., 3,000 gallons).
Enhances water quality through ozone-based oxidation, effectively addressing specific water quality challenges.
In high-humidity environments or locations where salt is present, stainless steel tanks may develop pinholes or rust if condensation isn't regularly wiped away. For these environments, or if regular maintenance isn't feasible, we recommend selecting our fiberglass tank option.
